Banning IP's

You may ban anyone by their IP number from this page. The option to ban IP numbers is also available from the "User Error Logs" link under the "Admin Actions" heading.

Banning an IP number will stop that IP from being able to access any AF Ultimate Pages. This is useful against those that may abuse your site's pages, or anyone you feel is better being blocked from your site.

In the "Add IP to Ban" field, enter the complete IP number to ban. Do Not enter incomplete IP numbers as this utility doesn't block ranges (that is for your htaccess to do).

Next, enter a short note to remind yourself why they are being banned, and click the "ADD" link to save the new IP number to ban. Below the "ADD" button is an option to clear all currently banned ip, and below that, the list of current banned IP numbers.

At the end of each banned ip in that list is an option to delete that particular IP number if you wish.
