Category Banner Ads

This utility is for creating banner ads for individual categories. These banners will show in the category page top and/or bottom and/or right nav (sponsors heading). Upload banner(s) to the banners folder, which you wish use for a particular category. Then, choose the category to add/change ads from the select list, and click the "Get Category" button. Enter the banner image names in the correct placement field, and click the "Save" button. Repeat to add/change another category's photo.

Banners will show under each section after you save your banner's info for that category.

The first page you will see is shown below.

Choose the Category you wish to add ads to, then click the "Get Category" button.

The first thing to point out on the page is the dropdown menu of categories. You can move from that page to another category by choosing another category and then clicking on the "Get Category" button at the bottom of the page.

The next section of that page is the top horizontal banner for the category page for the chosen category. If using a custom banner on your site, upload the banner to your "banners" folder, then enter the banner's banner's link in the first field. In the next field, the alternate text for the banner link (in case it doesn't load, the text will show instead).

If you are using a premade remote affiliate banner link, simply paste it into the first field as above for the custom banner.

Please note the "Delete All" link. If that category has existing banners you can delete them all using that link.

The last two sections on the category ads page are shown above, and you'd enter the banner and anchor info in the same way (but with different banners!). Remember, Hortizontal means laying left to right, Vertical means standing up and down. Only use a Vertical banner in the third section.

When you are done entering the info, click the "Save Changes" button. You can always edit & add to the banners for that category later by choosing the category from the dropdown menu list.

NOTE: If you wish to remove a banner and leave the others, just clear the banner's link and ALT text and click the "Save Changes" button.
