DNA

"DNA" stands for "Delete Non-contributing Authors" and what this means is to delete those authors that sign up for an account, then never submit any articles.

Once you click on that link, a popup dialog will ask if you wish to continue, and if yes, all authors with no submitted articles (outside the grace period) will have their accounts removed.

The grace period is set in your admin site settings page, and sets how long after signing up before their account is removed if they don't submit any article within that time period.

Why would you need to do this? Good question, and the answer is that some people simply signup for an author account so they can leave a link to their website(s) and in their bio. They have no intention of submitting any articles, so they need to be removed. So, you can set your grace period to whatever amount of time needed to convince you they will never submit an article!
