AF Ultimate Updates System

One Click Updates

This page will allow you to choose updates to upgrade your AF Ultimate Scripts! All Frontend updates are simply a one click operation that downloads and installs your update automatically on your site.

Admin section updates must still be download to your computer, then uploaded to the specific folder to update that page, but each type of update will offer a link for you to download it.

You will notified if there are any update available after logging in as admin, and the notice will show on the statistics page under the "Updates" heading. You will see either a "No new updates at this time." message in green text, or a "Updates are available" message in red text with an option to go to the updates page.

If you click to the updates page, you will see something similar to this image...

You can now install each update shown. If you are installing a frontend update (which shouldn't break any customizations you've done) click on the install? link and the update will be done automatically and you will be notified when it's complete, or of any errors.

Any pages changed will be backed up as the original filename with a tilde ( ~ ) at the end. Be sure to immediatedly download the backed up page(s) to your computer in case you wish to rollback to the original page after an update.
